Life is Beauti-Fall / Hay There!

With the cool weather rolling in, I’m excited for the fall season. As the leaves turn to orange, red, and yellow, the holiday season approaches. We’re soon engulfed by the saffron of Halloween to the earth tones of Thanksgiving, followed by the evergreen and scarlet that lead us to winter. In this edition of Guest, I’d like to introduce you to all that Westchester has to offer, from the best spots to pick up a tasty fall pie to haunted houses that lurk in the county and beyond. Not to mention spooky historical sites and a feel-good Christmas story. But let’s start with this weekend. Where are you going to watch your football team play on Sunday? See you at the bar! We have a guide to the hottest spots to enjoy food and football. Then, make room for dessert with lots of delicious pies from many of our favorite bakeries and shops. Your weekend would not be complete without a little shopping, so pick from our listings of holiday pop-up boutiques where you’ll find some great holiday gifts. Plus, find a trendy autumn outfit to curate that perfect look. But, wait, there’s more: Check out our listings of bikes, hikes, and farmers markets to eat fresh and healthy, as well as find the best orchards and local farms of the season. As you dive into fall, we invite you to share your fall experiences with us on social media with the hashtag #WestchesterGuest. If you learned about an event from us, I’d love to see you enjoying it with your family or friends. So whether you’re looking for a fright or a delight, football and food or pie so good, unique boutiques, thanks for starting your fall with us, and I’m wishing you an enchanting autumn.

Warmly, Nina N. Harrison, Publisher
