A Summer to Savor

From barbeques to fireworks and birthdays to beach days, we finally
have the time and the temps to get outside and play. And there’s
such variety here in Westchester, with its nearly 50 cities, towns, and
villages. But summer flies by, so I always tell people to savor every
moment. In this issue, we’re showing off Westchester’s impressive
food truck scene with a special guide to dozens of gourmet kitchens
on wheels. Then, in this issue’s “One Weekend In,” we’re exploring the
towns of Lower Westchester with tips on the top restaurants, shops,
outdoor activities, and museums to catch. Next, it’s time to shop,
spin, and hop with our guides on farmers’ markets, county trails, and
breweries. We close out with Celebrate in Style and a story from one
of Westchester’s most storied wedding venues. So, whether you’re
looking for a New York slice or a show to entice, a quiet night out or a
day with the kids, I invite you to explore the pages ahead, and I wish
you a spectacular summer!
